About
Ria Reads is powered by imagination. We envision a world where every black and brown child and young adult sees themselves reflected in the stories they read.
Igniting a passion for reading, empowering the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and storytellers.
Our mission
We strive to promote literacy, raise awareness, and inspire self-esteem by curating a diverse selection of middle-grade to YA books written by and featuring African American, Aboriginal Americans, Indigenous and Diverse voices.
"Our mission is to curate a diverse selection of middle-grade to YA books that not only entertain but also challenge perspectives, ignite imaginations, and promote positive self-esteem and cultural awareness."
